Bhartiya Bhasha Samiti
A High-Powered Committee for the Promotion of Indian Languages, was constituted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Bhartiya Bhasha Samiti works to explore and recommend pathways for the promotion of Indian languages as a medium of instruction both in School and Higher Education as envisaged in the National Education Policy 2020. It works with scholars, institutions, and communities to create a Bhartiya Bhasha ecosystem in all the domains of language use. Leveraging technology for teaching and learning of Bhartiya Bhasha, making them aspirational, developing uniform scientific and technical terminology for Indian languages, strengthening unity in linguistic diversity, etc. are some of the focus areas of Bhartiya Bhasha Samiti.
