पगडंडी में पहाड़
हिमाच्छादित पहाड़ की छटा, उनमें उमड़ते-घुमड़ते मखमली बादल, दूर तक कल-कल करते झरनों-सरिताओं के स्वर, देखने-सुनने में जितने मनमोहक होते हैं, वहाँ का जीवन उतना ही कठिन होता है। कभी भूस्खलन तो कभी बादल फटने जैसी घटनाएँ आमतौर पर देखी जाती हैं। सुख-सुविधाओं की पहुँच पहाड़ों में अत्यंत दुर्लभ है। ऐसे स्थानों में पर्यटन का रोमांच अपने आप में चुनौतीपूर्ण, आनंददायक और कौतूहलपूर्ण होता है। लेकिन एक लेखक जब ऐसे स्थानों पर भ्रमण करता है तो वह न केवल पहाड़ों की बसावट और खूबसूरती को कलमबद्ध करता है, बल्कि वह वहाँ के दर्शन को भी सबके सामने लाने का प्रयास करता है। इसी तरह के शब्द-चित्र इस पुस्तक में लेखक द्वारा उकेरे गए हैं। वह दुर्गम और नितांत स्थानों में विचरण करते हुए अपने यात्रा-वृत्तांत को आगे बढ़ाते हैं और पहाड़ों की रानी मसूरी से लेकर झड़ीपानी फॉल परी-टिब्बा होते हुए चारधाम की मानसिक यात्रा का सहयात्री अपने पाठकों को भी बनाते हैं।

start to connect on their own and make heavenly writing. In the book, the author has also written in
great detail about Uttarakhand's literary history. Being familiar with the mountains in such depth and
detail for someone who lives in the plains is not only amazing, it also speaks to the writer's talent and
diligence. A trinity of travelogue, investigative journalism, and storytelling can be seen in this book,
and the reader keeps drowning in its depths. Because it is unique, the subject matter of this book is
beneficial not only to tourists but also to students, particularly research academics. The book is not
only readable but also collectible because of its originality, brilliance, and usefulness.
